Owner & Head Designer

Linda Mordoh

Interior design has always been my passion and after 46 years, I still love my profession. As Mark Twain said, ‘Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.’ Well, truer words were never spoken. That is me and my life! When I complete a project and the client tells me how much they love it and how everything is working exactly as we planned, that makes me happy! My design philosophy is that a room must not only look good, but it must be functional.” In 1978, Linda Mordoh, Allied ASID, opened Savvy Décor, a premier residential design firm serving Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The studio offers a full array of services and finishes— everything from furniture, wallpaper, fabric, lighting, hardware, and decorative accessories—for newly constructed homes or remodeling projects, all at discounted pricing. Mordoh has always been on the cutting edge of design and has a cadre of artisans working with her to take your project from ordinary to extraordinary. Mordoh and her team love to create beautiful and innovative spaces, always keeping the client’s budget and style in mind.

The client will be presented with unbelievable design boards and written quotes for total transparency and open communication. With Mordoh’s expertise, customers can avoid costly mistakes and feel confident in her ability to breathe new life into their homes, creating spaces they love. Mordoh has designed four Indianapolis Monthly Dream Homes, participated in more than 22 Home-A-Rama tours, and been involved with many other home shows for which she has won numerous design awards and “best of show” honors. She has been published more than 20 times in Indianapolis Monthly magazine and has had projects showcased nationally in Better Homes & Gardens and Houzz
